On April 21, 2023, we attended the truly atmospheric DUMP event, which has been attracting programmers and managers for 12 years to exchange experiences. The main IT conference in the Urals took place in the vast hall of the convention center "Expo-Yekaterinburg" and gathered 1800 participants under its roof.<h2 style="" class="">Highlights</h2>Listeners were presented with 85 reports consisting of unique cases from specialists in various IT fields: Backend, Frontend, Design, Team, Product, Testing &amp; QA, Mobile, Platform Engineering (ex. DevOps), SA&amp;BA, Science, ML&amp;DS.Apart from the informative sessions, there were coffee breaks and networking opportunities where one could make new acquaintances and chat with speakers. There were also entertainment stands with prize giveaways from the project sponsors, and an after-party at the end.<h2 style="" class="">What we loved</h2> We loved everything: from the interesting lectures by IT professionals to the contests held in different locations. We met some fun folks, played a board game called "What's the Meme?", threw toys around, and solved puzzles. Now we have many memorable souvenirs and pleasant impressions.

21 апреля 2023 мы посетили по-настоящему атмосферное мероприятие DUMP, которое уже 12 лет стягивает программистов и менеджеров для обмена опытом. Главная IT-конференция на Урале прошла в огромном зале конгресс-центра МВЦ «Экспо-Екатеринбург» и собрала под своей крышей 1800 участников.<h2 class="">Что было интересного</h2>Ко вниманию слушателей представили 85 докладов, которые состояли из уникальных кейсов специалистов различных областей IT-сферы: Backend, Frontend, Design, Team, Product, Тестирование &amp; QA, Mobile, Platform Engineering (ex. DevOps), SA&amp;BA, Science, ML&amp;DS.Помимо информационной части в программу включили перерывы на кофе-брейк и нетворкинг, во время которых можно было завести новые знакомства и пообщаться со спикерами. Были и развлекательные стенды с розыгрышами призов от спонсоров проекта, а в конце – афтепати.<h2 class="">Что понравилось</h2>

Нам понравилось все: от интересных лекций IT-профи и до проходивших в разных локациях конкурсах. Мы познакомились с веселыми ребятами, играли в настолку «Что за мем?», бросались игрушками и разгадывали головоломки. Теперь у нас есть много памятных сувениров и приятных впечатлений.Спасибо организаторам и спикерам за доступ к актуальным знаниям. С нетерпением ждем DUMP 2024!&nbsp;

As the first summer month was coming to an end, there was a question in the air: wasn't it time to add some color and new experiences to our workdays? We wanted more emotions and interaction, along with exciting events. That's why we decided to organize championships for the most popular and beloved games.On Friday, June 30, 2023, the first darts competition among MediaTen specialists took place.Each participant had three attempts with 6 darts each at the standard distance to the target - 237 cm. The scoring rules were similar to the standard rules, with a small addition - minus 50 points for hitting the wall. A few times, luck wasn't on the wall's side, and it seems we might need a plasterer-painter now.<h2 class="">WINNERS</h2>Over 15 participants managed to showcase their skills. Some made smooth hand movements, others executed intricate throws, and some made such swift releases that they had to hide behind the glass of the conference room. One of the developers hit a bullseye with precision, while another proved that they could shoot well with their left hand. Both made it into the top five:1st place - Sergey N.,2nd place - Vasily P.,3rd place - Alexey S.,4th place - Ivan V.,5th place - Mikhail M.Sergey scored the maximum number of points and took home the valuable prize. Vasily and Alexey were awarded with certificates for a digital and household appliance store, while Ivan and Mikhail received consolation prizes. <img src="https://backend.mediaten.ru/storage/uploads/darts.png"> The developers got so caught up in the excitement and adrenaline that they didn't even notice how the game flew by. That's why our CEO gave the green light for an additional round, for which a separate trophy was awarded. The winner of this extra round was Dmitry M.<h2 class="">CONCLUSIONS AND PLANS</h2>In addition to the surge of emotions during the championship, laughter from jokes and comments of the participants never subsided. We had snacks, had a blast, and simply had a great time. Подходил к концу первый летний месяц. И в воздухе повис вопрос: не пора ли нам добавить красок и новых впечатлений в рабочие будни? Захотелось больше эмоций и общения, а вместе с тем&nbsp;–&nbsp;увлекательных событий. Для этого мы решили проводить чемпионаты по самым популярным и любимым играм.В пятницу, 30 июня 2023 года, состоялось первое соревнование по дартсу среди специалистов MediaTen.&nbsp; Участник состязания имел три подхода по 6 дротиков на общепринятом расстоянии до мишени – 237 см. Правила подсчета аналогичны стандартным, не считая небольшого нововведения – минус 50 очков за попадание в стену. Пару раз ей все равно не повезло, и, кажется, теперь нам нужен штукатур-маляр.&nbsp; <h2 class="">ПОБЕДИТЕЛИ</h2>Свое мастерство удалось показать более 15 участникам. Кто-то делал плавные взмахи руками, другие – крученые броски, а некоторые совершали настолько стремительные выбросы, что приходилось прятаться за стекло переговорной комнаты. Один из разработчиков отличился точным попадание в яблочко, а второй – доказал, что можно хорошо стрелять и левой рукой. Оба попали в пятерку сильнейших:1 место – Сергей Н., 2 место – Василий П.,3 место – Алексей С.,4 место – Иван В.,5 место – Михаил М.Сергей набрал максимальное количество баллов и забрал ценный приз. Василия и Алексея наградили сертификатами в магазин цифровой и бытовой техники, а Иван и Михаил получили утешительные призы. &nbsp;<img src="https://backend.mediaten.ru/storage/uploads/darts.png">Разработчики так сильно раззадорились и вошли в азарт, что не заметили, как пронеслась игра. Поэтому наш гендиректор дал добро на дополнительный круг, за который назначил отдельный трофей. Мы перекусили, повеселились и просто классно отдохнули. Constantly setting goals is our everything. And the more challenging they are, the more pride we feel when they are achieved. Opening a new office, obtaining accreditation and a trademark, increasing turnover during COVID-19... Done.In 2022, a new goal emerged - to enter the main digital rankings in Russia. And not just to say hello, but to apply for leading positions in specific segments and directions. We independently nurtured our brand for 11 years and built trust relationships with clients. But now, finding a client who doesn't look at the lists of leading IT companies to choose a contractor is more challenging. Rankings have become the main sources of key leads.Passing moderation and securing a spot in the TOP-100 of the Runet and Tagline proved to be a quite labor-intensive process.Considering that MediaTen was absent from the rankings before, we had to be exceptionally meticulous with our documentation for the first time. We gathered cases and contracts with clients that could be published. We conducted a financial audit of the company for the last 3-5 years. We found and systematized all the necessary information for 2022. We uploaded it to our personal account, passed moderation, and waited to see what would come of it.In early 2023, it turned out that there were some minor issues with the requirements of the Runet ranking. We had to confirm two projects without which our company would not have made it into the segments. But thanks to our official work and the detailed responses of the project's chief editor, Anatoliy Denisov, we were able to quickly add what was needed.<blockquote class="blockquote">&nbsp;- If we added the turnover percentage yesterday, will we see the revenue after the update today? - Good day. Yes, that's correct.</blockquote>And another 300+ questions in the Telegram community, each of which was answered by Anatoly.In May 2023, the results came in. In the Runet ranking, MediaTen has achieved many positions, including leading ones. For example, in the field of outstaffing, we made it to the TOP-10 in Russia. These are significant achievements and a reason to be proud, as we are ranked alongside large and fairly well-known IT companies. The ranking calculation concept there is slightly different, but for us, it's still a significant experience and a reason to set new goals. In 2023, according to Tagline's assessment, we achieved:<ul><li>70th place in the ranking of outsourcing developers in Russia</li><li>99th place in the ranking of the best web developers/integrators in Russia</li></ul>In February 2023, we also participated in CMS Magazine, where we secured 3rd place in the ranking of digital agencies and web studios in Yekaterinburg. The process was much quicker and easier, as we had already prepared all the necessary documents and selected works for registration in similar projects. We received the results literally the next day.Let's not forget about RUWARD, to which we also submitted our data. Recently, there was a voting process, and positions in market segments will be announced soon. We hope to be able to share those results in the near future.

Participation in rankings greatly motivates us to become better. First, in 2024, we plan to take leading positions in Yekaterinburg in all the areas in which we operate. Second, we aim to enter the TOP-10 in Russia in many market segments. We have all the tools and competencies for this; now, we just need to expand our team with even more developers and specialists. Therefore, we will actively work on team expansion to achieve higher results in 2023.We would like to thank all the organizers and juries of these projects for giving us the opportunity to showcase our level of professionalism. Открыть новый офис, получить аккредитацию и товарный знак, увеличить оборот в COVID–19… Сделано.В 2022 году появилась новая – войти в основные digital-рейтинги России. И не просто заглянуть поздороваться, а с заявкой на лидирующие позиции в определенных срезах и направлениях. Мы самостоятельно растили бренд 11 лет и налаживали доверительные отношения с клиентами. Но теперь найти заказчика, который бы не смотрел в списки лидеров IT-компаний для выбора подрядчика, найти сложнее. Рейтинги стали основными трафиками ключевых лидов.Пройти модерацию и занять строчку в ТОП-100 Рунета и Tagline оказалось достаточно трудоемким процессом.С учетом того, что раньше MediaTen отсутствовала в рейтингах, нам впервые пришлось наводить настолько тщательный порядок в документации. Собрали кейсы и договоры с клиентами, которые можно опубликовать. Провели финансовый аудит компании за последние 3-5 лет. Нашли и систематизировали всю нужную информацию за 2022 год. Загрузили в личный кабинет, прошли модерацию и стали ждать, что из этого выйдет.
В начале 2023 года оказалось, что есть небольшие проблемы с требованиями рейтинга Рунета. Надо было подтвердить два проекта, без которых наша компания не попала бы в срезы. Но благодаря тому, что мы работаем официально, и кропотливым ответам главного редактора проекта Анатолия Денисова нам быстро удалось добавить необходимое.<blockquote class="blockquote">&nbsp;– Если вчера внесли процент оборотов, сегодня выручку увидим после обновления? &nbsp;– Добрый день. Да, все верно. </blockquote>

В мае 2023 пришли результаты. В рейтинге Рунета у MediaTen много позиций. Есть и лидирующие. Например, по аутстаффингу мы вошли в ТОП-10 РФ. Это серьезные показатели и повод для гордости, ведь нас поставили рядом с крупными и довольно известными IT-компаниями. Не стоит забывать и о RUWARD, на который мы тоже загрузили свои данные. Недавно на нем прошло голосование, и скоро будут объявлены позиции в срезах рынка. Надеемся, что в ближайшее время сможем поделиться и ими. 

Участие в рейтингах сильно стимулирует становиться лучше. Во-первых, в 2024 году планируем занять лидирующие позиции в Екатеринбурге по всем направлениям, в которых мы работаем. Во-вторых, хотим войти в ТОП-10 России по многим срезам рынка. Все инструменты и компетенции для этого у нас есть. Осталось дополнить штат еще большим числом разработчиков и специалистов. Поэтому будем активно работать над расширением команды, чтобы вместе достичь более высоких результатов в 2023 году.
